Aircraft controls are Saitek rudder pedals on the floor, an x-52 combat joystick and Throttle, and four three axis quadrants for controlling mixtures and flaps. The unit includes a 5.1 surround sound unit. There is also a Track IR 5 head tracker which reads the direction of the pilots head and inputs this into the simulation. The computer itself has an Intel quad processor, two Gt9600 video cards set up in SLI. The cockpit is built around an armchair with all the equipment bolted onto it, with thre custom made stands for the monitors. this setup would suit an avid simulator player, or a real pilot looking to write off virtual flying hours, as I would think this cockpit would pass certification.
